Lindsey Sealy — Executive Director

Lindsey Sealy was named Executive Director of Eno River Academy in 2024 after serving as the school’s High School Principal beginning in 2022. She brings more than 15 years of experience in education and a deep understanding of both teaching and leadership. Her approach blends strategic vision with compassion, creating a school culture grounded in belonging, integrity, growth, and creativity.
Before entering school leadership, Lindsey taught high school mathematics, where she discovered her passion for helping students build confidence through challenge and connection. A proud graduate of North Carolina State University, she began her career with Teach For America, later earning her Master of School Administration from UNC Chapel Hill.
As Executive Director, Lindsey guides ERA’s long-term vision for excellence and innovation. She has expanded the school’s STREAM (Science, Technology, Research, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) model, strengthened instructional alignment, and deepened community partnerships that enrich student learning. Her leadership emphasizes collaboration, data-driven improvement, and authentic relationships with students, families, and staff.
Outside of work, Lindsey and her husband are the proud parents of six children, which fuels her passion for ensuring that every student at ERA is known, supported, and inspired to thrive.
School Principals

Kristin Martin — K-8 Principal

Kristin Martin is originally from Ohio, where she graduated in 2005 from Mount Union College with a degree in Middle Childhood Education and followed that with a master’s degree from Marygrove College in Middle School Mathematics. Ms. Martin taught Middle School Mathematics for 11 years at Orange Charter School/Eno River Academy and served as the Eno River Academy Curriculum Director for 7 years before becoming the K-8 Principal for the 2024-2025 school year.

Michael Brown — High School Principal

Dr. Michael Brown began serving as Principal of Eno River Academy High School in January 2025, bringing experience as an educator and administrator. He previously served as Dean of Students at ERA High School, Principal in Vance County Schools and as an Assistant Principal in Chapel Hill–Carrboro City Schools and at Moss Street Partnership School. Before entering administration, Dr. Brown taught middle school Science and Social Studies, where he built his belief that strong relationships are the foundation of student and school success. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Middle Grades Education, a Master’s in School Administration, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership.
Dean of Students

Morgana Hover — K-5 Dean of Students

Morgana Hover is originally from the Hillsborough area and has been an educator for 16 years. She has a long history with Eno River Academy having attended the school under its former name, Orange Charter School, from its opening in 1997 through 8th grade. She then attended the University of North Carolina at Asheville as a NC Teaching Fellow and later returned to teach at Orange Charter School/Eno River Academy as a 6th grade Language Arts/Social Studies/Orchestra teacher. When her second child was born she attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to earn her masters in School Administration and moved into the position of K-12 Dean of Students at ERA. Mrs. Hover has been a constant pillar as Dean over various grade levels until settling into her current role as Elementary Dean. She spends much of her time at school assisting and leading various events and clubs such as 4-H, Spirit Week, Book Fairs, and Children's Market as well as supporting teachers (especially beginners), mentors, and students reach their individual unique potential. Outside of school she enjoys reading, crochet, gardening, animals, and spending time with family and friends.

Amber Coburn — 6-8 Dean of Students

Amber Coburn is a lifelong champion of middle school and all its quirks. She has spent the past 14 years helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. A graduate of Elon University, she spent the first 12 years of her career as a middle school English Language Arts teacher, 10 of which were at ERA! In her current role, she is honored to expand her impact on teaching, learning, and school culture at Eno River Academy Middle School.

Casey Trull — 9-12 Dean of Students

Originally from the small town of Clyde, NC in the mountains of Western North Carolina, Casey Trull found his passion for education through his experience as a tennis coach and as an administrator at an after-school arts education program in Wilmington, NC. Casey joined Eno River Academy High School in 2019 as an English teacher after earning his Master's in Teaching at UNCW. After working in the classroom for six years and serving as department chair for three, Casey made the leap to school administration as the High School Dean of Students in 2025 while completing his Master's of School Administration at UNCW. He believes in building community through authentic engagement and surrounding teachers with support as they play their crucial societal role of preparing students to reach their goals and realize their potential far beyond the classroom walls.

Michael Jenkins — Dean of Instruction

Michael Jenkins, K-12 Dean of Instruction, also serves as the middle and high school Band Director. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Music Education from East Carolina University as a NC Teaching Fellow (Go Pirates!), and a master’s degree in school administration from the University of Kansas (Rock Chalk, Jayhawk!). Mr. Jenkins is in his 14th year of education, and is proud to be a part of the Eno River team, Go Bobcats!

Charlie Oakley, grew up locally and graduated from Orange High School (Go Panthers!) and East Carolina (Go Pirates!) This is his 22nd year in Education as a coach, AD, former Social Studies teacher, and now Facilities Director. He was proud to be a part of the original High School expansion of Eno River Academy in 2016.
