Good afternoon,
I canât wait to hear about everyoneâs eclipse experience. I hope it is memorable!
Check out this Eclipse Information from Ms. Preddy!
Protect your retinas, don't look at the sun! If you don't have eclipse glasses, you can quickly and easily make a pinhole projector to see the effect of the eclipse today. Check out our K-8 STEM website for instructions and more about the solar eclipse. Happy and safe viewing of this amazing phenomenon!
Best,
Kristin
Updates:
No Parking in the Fire Lane: The gravel area just past the parking lot and dumpsters is a fire lane. Please do not park there.
KONA ICE TRUCK!!! The Kona Ice truck was such a huge success that we are doing it again! Please come and support the seniors raising money for the first ever Senior's gift to the school. The Class of 2024 is raising money to purchase a trophy case and hopefully we can raise enough to get a snow cone machine for concessions. The Kona Ice truck will be parked between the lower school and the high school on April 17th from 11:15 AM to 1 PM. Thanks for helping us give back to a school that has given us so much.
1st/2nd Grade Spring Performance:
We are excited to put on our first performance together! This year, Grades 1-2 will be presenting a fun, musical program titled âHATS!â Grab your hat! Itâs time to party! Hats of all shapes and sizes take over the stage when a group of milliners help Hatless Hank find the perfect hat. Discover that itâs not the hat that makes a person special, but whatâs underneath! They will perform on April 24th and 25th at 9:00am in the middle school gym. Parents and guests are invited to attend either or both performances.
ERA Summer Camps: New Camp Added 2024 ERA Summer Camps are available for sign ups. This list will continue to be updated throughout the spring, so be sure to check back!
World Heritage Day: Please come join us on Wednesday April 17th as the Spanish Honor Society hosts their 1st Annual World Heritage Day event. This will take place in the high school gym. There will be informational pieces prepared from our spanish classes as well as other countries around the world. Students will have a chance to hear music, play games, read information, and taste test drinks and foods from other countries.
We are asking that elementary school take the first hour from 9-10, then 10-11 for the middle school and 11-12 for the high school. Sign up here. If the time slots fill up and there is additional interest, teachers are welcome to email Ms.Tinnin@ jtinnin@enoriveracademy.org, to work out an additional time frame. Students are welcome to bring some cash if they would like to enter a raffle for a goodie basket. Proceeds will go to support the families working in local labor camps in NC with basic necessities.
Make sure you download the Eno River Academy App, if you havenât already done so!
