  • Eno River Academy is partnering with PetPalsNC to welcome a certified therapy dog to our campus. We are pleased to announce that one of their trained therapy dogs will begin visiting ERA soon! Therapy dogs are specially trained and certified to work in schools and other community settings.

Research shows that therapy dogs can help improve mood, increase engagement, and create a welcoming school environment. We are excited about the positive impact this partnership may have on our students and staff.

Your child will likely see the therapy dog in hallways, classrooms, or during designated activities. Students will never be required to interact with the therapy dog. If you prefer that your child not engage with the dog, please simply instruct your child not to approach him.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Pamela Harkey at pharkey@enoriveracademy.org.
