Bobcats ROARING with pride

Check out the seventh grade project in which they were tasked with designing a “prosthetic” limb for Beanie Baby amputees! 

They had to: 

• Choose a Beanie Baby “patient”

• Brainstorm/sketch a prosthesis design for their “patient”

• Build the prosthesis while following specific criteria/constraints and with limited resources

• Present to the class about their prosthesis

Lockdown Drill

After School Activities

We’re excited to announce a new after-school club opportunity for K-5! Boxtops for Education

Did you know we are a Boxtops for Education school? No longer do you have to clip your boxtops and bring them in, there is now an app! Click this link to download the app, and scan your receipts within 14 days to give credit to our school. 

Blood Drive

ERA's first blood drive of the year (hosted by FCS) is coming up on Tuesday, October 6 from 9:00-2:00 in the high school gym.  We need to fill 62 appointment slots and need everyone's help to make this drive a success! Anyone (16+ years of age) is welcome to donate! Click this link to sign up for

Vision to Learn 

Vision To Learn will be on campus this year providing free vision screenings, eye exams, and glasses for students—at no cost to families.  If you wish to opt-out of services, please do so ahead of time so your student is not included for participation during our school visits. All services take place during the school day.  If you do not want your student to participate, complete this form.

Pantry Donations Needed 

Granola bars, apple sauce and small water bottles would be very appreciated! Drop off your donation during the morning carline, or have your child walk them into the front office. 

Shoe Donations Needed

Accidents happen at school, and sometimes to shoes! We are starting a small loaner closet of shoes in case of mishap. Any gently used shoes in various sizes would be much appreciated.  Drop off your donation during the morning carline, or have your child walk them into the front off.

Duke Football Fundraiser

NEXT SIGN UP DATE: SEPT 19th

This is an opportunity to make a lot of money for our ERA athletics programs. We will need 12 parents and up to 4 kids per game, but kids must be 16 and up. You will work at a Duke football concession stand, and it's busy! We will make 10% of that stand's proceeds. Please wear ERA gear as you work if possible. All adults will also need to complete online training before working (once you sign up, Brad will send you the link). This month we are focusing on 8th and 11th grade families (but anyone and everyone CAN help!) to help supply the staff a delicious lunch before their professional development on Wednesday October 7th. Donations can be made towards the Jersey Mike's sub trays through this link - note October lunch!

Board of Directors
