We are honored to share that Eno River Academy has been recognized as one of North Carolina’s original charter schools—helping pioneer school choice since the law first passed in 1996.

For nearly 30 years, ERA has been built on a commitment to academic excellence, creativity, and strong relationships with students and families. This recognition reflects the work of so many educators, leaders, and families who have shaped our school over the years.

But more importantly—it reflects who we are today.

🎥 Take a look inside ERA and see what makes our school special:

We are proud of our history and excited for what’s ahead as we continue to grow, innovate, and serve our community.

✨Sharing the Skies: Star Gazing–TONIGHT! 6:00 - 7:30 pm
Bring the family, a blanket and a warm drink– join us for a guided tour of our night sky. Chapel Hill Astronomical and Observational Society (CHAOS) will be coming to ERA on February 23rd at the K8 Blacktop from 6-7:30 to point out our winter constellations and share the images from their telescopes. Feel free to bring your own telescope if you have one!
There is no fee, but CHAOS accepts donations.
💡Heads up, we will be turning off all lights 💡during the presentation (6:15 ish) and ask for cell phones to be stored so our eyes can experience the darkest skies possible! ✨

Parent attendance required.

This is a reminder that MS spring tryouts start this week. Tryouts are canceled for soccer on Monday because Coach Matthews is still working with the HS Women's Basketball team, and they made it to the playoffs!

It looks like we have a chilly and windy start to the week. Make sure students dress for the weather.

⚽ girls soccer - Tryouts will be Tuesday, February 24th, from 3:15 - 5:00.

🎾 boys tennis - Tryouts February 26th & 27th, from 3:30 - 5:00.

⚾ baseball - Tryouts will be February 23rd and 24th, starting at 4:00. Join the Band app to stay up to date for tryout location.

👟 running club - This will start in March. The club will meet from 3:30 - 5:00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Join the Band app.
